How to Fix 4-1 Error

  1. This is a duplicate of error F4E3, indicating a failed drain check valve within the wash motor assembly. Disconnect power.
  2. Pull the dishwasher out and lay it on its back to access the components underneath.
  3. The check valve is not sold separately. The entire wash motor/circulation pump assembly must be replaced.
  4. Disconnect hoses and wiring from the old motor, remove it, and install the new one.
  5. Reconnect everything securely and set the dishwasher upright.
