How to Fix 2-2 Error

Disconnect the dishwasher from power.
This is a communication error between the user interface (UI) and the main control board. First, access both components (UI in the door, main board usually at the base).
Check the wire harness that connects the two boards. Look for any pinched, loose, or damaged wires. Reseat the connection firmly at both ends.
If the wiring is intact, one of the boards has failed. It’s difficult to know which one. Technicians often start by replacing the user interface panel first as it’s more prone to failure.
If a new UI doesn’t fix it, the main control board must be replaced.
