How to Fix LG Washer Error E12

⚠️ Safety Warning: Appliance repair involves electricity, gas, and moving parts. Always disconnect power before working on any appliance.

Error Code: E12 Difficulty: Moderate

Problem: Overflow error – alias of FE on newer models

How to Fix E12 Error

  1. This is an overflow error. Unplug the washer and shut off the water supply immediately.
  2. Manually drain the washer using the emergency drain hose, usually located behind a small access panel on the bottom front.
  3. Check the pressure sensor air tube for clogs or kinks. If the tube is clear, the pressure sensor itself may be faulty. Replace it.
  4. If the problem continues after replacing the sensor, the water inlet valve is likely stuck open and needs to be replaced.
