Open freezer door and locate emitter/receiver sensors on opposite walls of ice chute (small red lenses).
Clean lenses thoroughly with soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol.
Check alignment – sensors must face each other directly without obstruction.
Disconnect wiring harnesses and test continuity through sensor circuit.
If sensors clean/aligned but error persists, replace both emitter and receiver assemblies (must replace as pair).
