- Disconnect the washer from the power outlet and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Remove the rear access panel of the washer by taking out the screws holding it in place.
- Locate the motor control board, which is a circuit board situated near the main drive motor at the bottom of the machine.
- Take a clear photo of the wire connections before proceeding.
- Disconnect all wire harnesses from the board. They are secured with locking tabs.
- Remove the screws mounting the board to the washer’s frame and install the new board.
- Reconnect the wires using your photo as a guide, then replace the rear panel.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
