Error Code: E2 Difficulty: Easy
Problem: The washer is not draining.
How to Fix E2 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Examine the drain hose behind the washer to ensure it is not kinked, clogged, or improperly positioned.
- Confirm the end of the drain hose is no more than 8 inches into the standpipe or laundry sink to prevent siphoning.
- Locate the drain pump filter access door, typically on the bottom front of the washer.
- Place a shallow pan and towels underneath the access door to catch water before twisting the filter cap counter-clockwise.
- Slowly remove the filter and clean it of any lint, coins, hair, or other foreign objects that may be causing a blockage.
- Securely screw the filter back into place, ensuring a tight seal to prevent leaks.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
