How to Fix E1 Error (Step-by-Step)

  1. Verify that both the hot and cold water faucets supplying the washer are turned on completely.
  2. Inspect the full length of the water inlet hoses for any kinks, twists, or crushing that could restrict water flow and straighten them.
  3. Turn off the water supply faucets and unscrew the inlet hoses from the back of the washer.
  4. Check the small metal filter screens inside the washer’s water inlet ports for any sediment or debris.
  5. Use a small brush or pliers to gently remove the screens and rinse them thoroughly under clean water until all debris is gone.
  6. Reinstall the filter screens, securely reconnect the hoses, and turn the water faucets back on.
  7. Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
