Problem: Turbidity sensor fault; internal sensor failure or wiring harness damage
How to Fix Dishwasher Error
- Unplug dishwasher from electrical power.
- Remove lower access panel to access sensor wiring harness connection.
- Disconnect wiring harness from turbidity sensor assembly.
- Test sensor continuity per service manual specifications using multimeter (typically checks optical circuit).
- Inspect wiring harness for cuts, pinches, or corrosion near tub movement points.
- If sensor tests faulty or wiring is damaged: remove mounting screw securing sensor housing.
- Gently extract sensor assembly from tub wall. Clean mounting area thoroughly.
- Install new turbidity sensor using OEM part DD31-00007A. Ensure O-ring is properly seated.
- Secure mounting screw to 3 in-lbs torque. Reconnect wiring harness firmly.
