Error Code: F26 Difficulty: Hard
Problem: Analogue pressure sensor issue.
How to Fix F26 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Disconnect the dryer from the power source by unplugging it from the wall outlet to ensure safety.
- Remove the top panel of the dryer. This is typically secured by screws at the back or sides of the appliance.
- Locate the analogue pressure sensor. It is a small component, usually mounted near the bottom or side of the dryer, with a thin hose and an electrical connector attached.
- Carefully disconnect the electrical wiring harness from the old sensor by pressing the locking tab and pulling the connector straight off.
- Disconnect the thin rubber or plastic hose from the sensor. Be gentle to avoid damaging the hose.
- Remove the old sensor from its mounting bracket. It may be held in place by a screw or a clip.
- Install the new pressure sensor by securing it to the mounting bracket, reattaching the hose, and plugging in the electrical connector until it clicks into place.
- Reassemble the dryer by securing the top panel, then plug the dryer back in and run a test cycle.
