How to Fix REMOTE START SYMBOL Error (Step-by-Step)
- This symbol means the dryer is ready to be started or is being controlled by a smart device through the Home Connect app.
- This is a normal operational feature and not an error.
- If you wish to operate the dryer directly from the control panel, you must first deactivate the remote start function.
- To deactivate it, simply press the ‘Remote Start’ button on the dryer’s control panel one time.
- The indicator light for the symbol should turn off, returning control to the machine itself.
- You can now select and start a drying cycle using the physical buttons and dial on the appliance.
- Remember that the dryer door must be closed for the remote start feature to be activated.
