Error Code: E33 / F33 Difficulty: Easy
Problem: Too much foam has been detected.
How to Fix E33 / F33 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Pause the dryer cycle. This error indicates excess foam was detected in the preceding wash cycle.
- Open the dryer door and inspect the clothes. If they feel soapy or slimy, they have too much detergent residue.
- Remove the soapy clothes from the dryer and place them back into the washing machine.
- Run the items through a rinse-only or a rinse and spin cycle in the washer without adding any detergent to remove the excess suds.
- For future laundry loads, ensure you are using a high-efficiency (HE) detergent and only the amount recommended by the manufacturer.
- Once the clothes are properly rinsed, you can begin the drying cycle again.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
