Error Code: E33 / F33 Difficulty: Easy
Problem: Too much foam has been detected.
How to Fix E33 / F33 Error (Step-by-Step)
- This error indicates too much detergent was used in the preceding wash cycle, creating excess foam.
- Pause the appliance and allow time for the foam to naturally dissipate.
- Once the foam has visibly reduced, run a ‘Rinse’ or ‘Drain & Spin’ cycle without adding any clothes or detergent to flush the system.
- For all future wash loads, ensure you are using a High-Efficiency (HE) detergent, which is specifically designed for low-water machines.
- Carefully measure the HE detergent according to the manufacturer’s instructions for your load size. Overdosing is the primary cause of this error.
- Never use standard, non-HE laundry detergent in a high-efficiency machine.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
