How to Fix E01 Error (Step-by-Step)

  1. Disconnect the dishwasher from power by turning off the circuit breaker.
  2. To access the control board, you will likely need to remove the outer door panel by unscrewing the Torx screws around the inner door perimeter.
  3. Carefully detach the control panel from the door, paying attention to the wire harnesses connected to it.
  4. Take a photo of the wire connections before disconnecting them from the old control board.
  5. Gently disconnect the wires and remove the old control board.
  6. Install the new control board, reconnect the wire harnesses as they were previously, and reassemble the door and control panel.
  7. Restore power to the dishwasher and run a test cycle.
