Problem: Hot water flow problem – insufficient hot water entering washer
How to Fix Washer Error
- Verify hot water supply valve is fully open at washer connection.
- Disconnect hot water hose and place in bucket – turn on supply to verify hot water flow.
- If no hot water at hose, check household water heater operation and temperature setting (should be 120°F minimum).
- Clean hot water inlet valve screen by removing hose and brushing debris from brass fitting.
- Inspect hot water hose for kinks or excessive length restricting flow.
- Remove top panel and locate water inlet valve assembly.
- Disconnect hot water solenoid wiring harness and measure resistance (should be 500-1500 ohms).
- Verify 120V AC reaches hot water solenoid during hot fill cycle (test at connector).
- If solenoid resistance is infinite or receives no power, replace water inlet valve assembly W
- After repair, run hot water cycle and verify temperature at dispenser outlet reaches 100°F+ within 2 minutes of fill start.
