How to Fix Refrigerator Error

Unplug refrigerator for 15 minutes to reset electronics.
After reboot, if code returns: remove kickplate grille and locate main control board (rear lower compartment).
Inspect all wire harness connections – especially J1 (power) and J7 (UI communication) – for loose/corroded pins.
Disconnect and reconnect each connector 3 times to clean contacts.
Check continuity of communication wires (typically white/red pair) between UI board WPW10366217 and main board W
Test UI board output: with multimeter on DC voltage, measure between J7 pins 1-2 while pressing display buttons – should fluctuate 3-5VDC.
If no signal, replace UI board.
If signal present but main board doesn’t respond, replace main control board W
After replacement, MUST program board using model-specific code from serial plate (e.g.,
via Door Alarm + Freezer Down key sequence.
