How to Fix Washer Error

  1. Unplug the washer completely from power.
  2. Remove the dispenser drawer and the top panel to access the control console.
  3. Remove the control panel mounting screws to access the user interface board.
  4. Disconnect the ribbon cable connecting the user interface to the main control board.
  5. Remove the mounting screws securing the user interface board to the console housing.
  6. Carefully lift out the old user interface board and inspect for damaged buttons or display issues.
  7. Transfer any overlays or button pads to the new board.
  8. Install the new user interface board and secure with mounting screws.
  9. Reconnect the ribbon cable ensuring it’s properly seated.
  10. Reassemble the control panel and test all buttons and display functions before replacing the top panel.
