How to Fix Dishwasher Error

  1. Disconnect power at circuit breaker.
  2. Remove lower access panel.
  3. Locate diverter motor on top of circulation pump housing.
  4. Disconnect electrical connector from motor.
  5. Remove 3 mounting screws securing motor assembly.
  6. Carefully lift motor assembly off pump housing.
  7. Clean drive mechanism and check for binding in gears.
  8. Install new diverter motor assembly with new gasket.
  9. Secure mounting screws to 7 inch-pounds in sequence.
  10. Reconnect electrical connector.
  11. Reinstall access panel.
  12. Restore power and test upper/lower spray arm operation during wash cycle – should alternate properly between arms.
