- Remove the screws holding the old lid switch in place and take it out of the washer.
- Install the new lid switch assembly (part W10404050, W10238287, or W11307244), securing it with the mounting screws.
- Reconnect the wire harness to the new switch, lower the main top panel, and snap it back into place.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
