How to Fix HC Error (Step-by-Step)
- Press the ‘Cancel’ button to stop the washer and clear the code.
- Turn off the hot and cold water faucets located behind the machine.
- Unscrew both water inlet hoses from the back of the washer.
- Identify the ‘H’ (Hot) and ‘C’ (Cold) connection ports on the washer.
- Reconnect the hose coming from your home’s hot water supply to the ‘H’ port.
- Reconnect the hose coming from your home’s cold water supply to the ‘C’ port. Hand-tighten and then give a quarter-turn with pliers.
- Turn both water faucets back on completely, check for any leaks, and start a new cycle.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
