Error Code: E24 Difficulty: Hard
Problem: Electronics fault.
How to Fix E24 Error (Step-by-Step)
- Disconnect the dryer from the electrical outlet and confirm the error stays cleared during a full test cycle.
- Open the dryer door and locate the two metal sensor bars, usually just inside the drum near the lint filter.
- Lightly dampen a soft cloth with rubbing alcohol and thoroughly wipe down the metal sensor bars to remove any built-up residue from fabric softeners or dryer sheets.
- Allow the sensors to air dry completely for 5-10 minutes.
- While waiting, clean the lint filter and check that the exhaust vent is clear.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
- Check for simple blockages (lint screen, drain path, or filter) and clean anything you find.
