Error Code: CL Difficulty: Easy
Problem: Control Lock Activated
How to Fix CL Error (Step-by-Step)
- Identify that the ‘CL’ code means the Control Lock (or Child Lock) feature is currently active, preventing any button inputs.
- To deactivate the lock, you must press and hold a specific button or combination of buttons.
- Look for a button on the control panel that has a small lock icon next to it, such as ‘Cycle Signal’ or ‘Extra Rinse’.
- Press and hold this specific button for 3 to 5 seconds.
- Watch the display screen for the ‘CL’ code to disappear.
- Once the code is gone, the controls are unlocked, and you can now operate the washer normally.
- Turn the appliance off, wait about 2 minutes, then turn it back on.
Still Not Working?
