How to Fix 6-7 Error

  1. Disconnect the dishwasher from power.
  2. The flow meter measures how much water is entering the tub and is part of the case break assembly on the side of the dishwasher.
  3. You will need to pull the dishwasher out from the cabinet to access the side.
  4. Locate the case break assembly (a large, clear plastic labyrinth). Check the wire harness connection to the flow meter.
  5. If the connection is good, the entire case break assembly containing the flow meter needs to be replaced. This involves disconnecting multiple hoses.
