How to Fix 2-1 Error

Disconnect the dishwasher from power for 5 minutes to attempt a reset.
If the error returns upon restoring power, a button on the user interface control panel is stuck or has shorted.
You will need to replace the user interface panel. Disconnect power again.
Open the dishwasher door and remove the screws holding the inner door panel.
Carefully separate the panels to access the user interface. Disconnect its ribbon cable and any other wiring.
Replace the old interface with the new one and reassemble the door.
