How to Fix Dryer Error

UNPLUG dryer from electrical power. Allow 45 minutes for components to cool completely.
Remove rear access panel to expose primary heater assembly location.
Disconnect electrical wires from heater terminals. Label connections for reassembly.
Test heater element resistance: proper reading 10-30Ω. Infinite resistance indicates open element.
Inspect wiring insulation near connections for melting or damage. Repair compromised sections.
Replace faulty primary heater assembly using OEM part DC97-15010A: remove mounting screws, extract old unit, clean chamber thoroughly, install new assembly with fresh gasket, torque screws to 12 in-lbs.
