How to Fix 1 Error

  • UNPLUG washer from electrical power.
  • Confirm both hot and cold water supply valves at wall are fully open. Check for kinks in inlet hoses.
  • Disconnect inlet hoses from washer back. Remove mesh screens from valve ports using needle-nose pliers.
  • Clean screens thoroughly with old toothbrush and white vinegar solution. Rinse under running water.
  • Reinstall clean screens. Reconnect hoses hand-tight plus 1/4 turn.
  • Access inlet valve assembly by removing rear panel. Test solenoid coil resistance per valve (500-1500Ω). Replace entire valve assembly if any coil reads open/shorted.
  • Install new inlet valve assembly using OEM part DC62-00120A: disconnect wiring harness, remove mounting screws, extract old valve, install new valve, reconnect hoses and harness.
  • Restore power. Start fill cycle to verify water enters tub within 30 seconds with strong flow.
