Error Code: F9E1 Difficulty: Moderate
Problem: Long drain error. The machine tried to pump water out but the sensor still detects water. Clean the drain pump filter and check for kinks in the drain hose.
How to Fix F9E1 Error

- UNPLUG washer from electrical power for 5 minutes to reset lock mechanism.
- Attempt manual door release: insert flat tool through dispenser opening to pull lock release tab downward.
- Remove top panel (3 rear screws) and front control panel to access door lock assembly.
- Inspect lock latch for debris, damage, or misalignment. Clean with isopropyl alcohol.
- Test door lock solenoid resistance with multimeter: should read 150-300Ω. Check microswitch continuity during manual operation.
- If resistance is out of range or microswitch fails, replace door lock assembly using OEM part W
- Disconnect wiring harness. Remove mounting screws. Extract old lock assembly.
- Install new lock assembly. Ensure strike plate on door aligns perfectly with latch.
- Reassemble panels. Restore power. Run door lock test cycle to verify engagement/disengagement sounds and operation.
