Problem: Pressure switch failure – water level sensor circuit fault
How to Fix Washer Error
- Unplug washer and remove top panel to access pressure switch (mounted on right side wall).
- Disconnect electrical connector and pressure hose from switch.
- With hose disconnected, multimeter should show NO continuity across switch terminals.
- Gently blow into pressure hose while monitoring continuity – switch should close at approximately
- 5 PSI.
- Check pressure hose for cracks, kinks, or water accumulation (replace hose WPW10351854 if damaged).
- Verify hose connection at air dome on tub is secure and not clogged with detergent residue.
- If switch doesn’t change state when blowing, replace pressure switch W
- If switch tests good but error persists, check wiring harness continuity between switch and control board.
- Inspect air dome port on tub for blockage – remove hose and probe with pipe cleaner if needed.
- After repair, run diagnostic cycle verifying correct water level detection at multiple fill stages (low, medium, high).
