How to Fix Refrigerator Error

Unplug refrigerator for 5 minutes to reset communication bus.
Remove rear access panel at top of cabinet to access main control board.
Locate 8-wire harness connecting main control board to user interface/display.
Disconnect and reconnect harness at both ends, inspecting for bent pins or corrosion.
Check harness routing for pinch points between cabinet panels or near sharp metal edges.
Verify continuity on all 8 wires between connectors (no opens or shorts to ground).
Inspect both boards for moisture damage or burnt components near communication ports.
If harness tests good but error persists, replace user interface board first (less expensive component).
