How to Fix F26 Error

Unplug the dryer. This is a major repair.
You will need to remove the front panel and drum to access the drive motor. Start by taking off the top panel, console, and front panel.
Release the tension on the drive belt from the idler pulley and remove the belt from the motor.
Disconnect the motor’s wire harness and unbolt the motor from the dryer’s base.
Install the new motor, re-route the belt, and carefully reassemble the dryer.
