How to Fix F1E5 Error
- Unplug the dryer. This code indicates a communication failure between the two main electronic boards.
- Inspect the wiring harness connecting the main control board (at the back) and the user interface board (in the console). Reseat the connectors at both ends.
- If wiring is intact, the fault is with one of the boards. It is often recommended to replace the User Interface board first.
- If the error remains after replacing the UI board, the main control board will need to be replaced.
