Problem: Overflow error – excessive water detected in tub beyond maximum level

How to Fix OE Error

1. Cancel cycle and allow washer to drain naturally through pump operation.
2. Inspect pressure tube routing – must have drip loop below tub connection to prevent siphoning of water into tube.
3. Test water level sensor operation as per 1E procedure with frequency meter.
4. Verify drain pump activates before fill cycle completes (prevents cumulative overfill on consecutive fills).
5. Check inlet valve for slow leak after cycle end – replace valve assembly if dripping observed during 10-minute post-cycle observation.
6. Replace water level sensor DC96-01703C if frequency signal erratic or stuck at low-frequency value.
7. Ensure drain hose height doesn’t exceed 96 inches causing backpressure during drain that triggers False overflow.
