How to Fix FL4 Error

  1. For models with LED blink patterns: 4 blinks indicates motor system error.
  2. Remove rear panel and locate hall sensor connector on motor stator.
  3. Disconnect and inspect for corrosion or bent pins.
  4. Measure resistance between pins 1-2 and 2-3 (
  5. 5-3kΩ normal).
  6. Rotate drum manually while monitoring resistance – should fluctuate smoothly.
  7. Replace hall sensor DC31-00138A if open circuit or erratic readings.
  8. Check motor windings (U-V, V-W, W-U should read 5-15Ω balanced).
  9. If sensor and motor test good but error persists: replace main PCB DC92-01543A.
