How to Fix AC Error

  1. Unplug the washer from the power outlet.
  2. Access the main control board. On many models, this involves removing screws from a rear console panel.
  3. Once the panel is off, you may need to remove more screws to rotate the console forward and access the board’s housing.
  4. Take a clear photo of all the wire connections to the control board to use as a reference for reinstallation.
  5. Carefully disconnect all wire harnesses from the old control board. They have locking tabs that need to be pressed.
  6. Remove the screws holding the control board in its housing and lift it out.
  7. Place the new control board into the housing and secure it with the mounting screws.
  8. Using your reference photo, reconnect all the wire harnesses to the correct terminals on the new board.
  9. Reassemble the console, secure the back panel, plug the washer in, and test its operation.
