How to Fix 6E2 Error

  1. Unplug the washer.
  2. Gently press and release all the buttons on the control panel to see if one is physically stuck. Sometimes wiping the panel with a damp cloth can free it.
  3. If the error persists, the user interface board is faulty. Remove the top panel to access the control console.
  4. Disconnect the wire harnesses from the user interface board.
  5. Remove the screws holding the board in place and replace it with the new one.
  6. Reassemble and restore power.
