How to Fix 5F2 Error

  1. Unplug the washing machine.
  2. Access the main control board by removing the screws on the rear console panel.
  3. You may need to remove more screws to rotate the console forward and reach the board’s housing.
  4. Photograph the wire layout on the board before proceeding.
  5. Disconnect each wire harness from the old control board.
  6. Remove the screws holding the board in its housing and replace it with the new one.
  7. Secure the new board with its screws.
  8. Reconnect all wire harnesses as shown in your reference picture.
  9. Reassemble the console and back panel, plug in the washer, and verify the fix with a test cycle.
