How to Fix 5F Error

  1. Disconnect the washer from the power source.
  2. Locate and access the main control board, which is typically behind the rear console panel. Remove the panel’s screws.
  3. It may be necessary to remove more screws to tilt the console forward for better access.
  4. Before disconnecting anything, take a detailed photograph of the wire connections for later reference.
  5. Unplug all wire harnesses from the control board.
  6. Unscrew the main board from its housing and remove it.
  7. Mount the new control board in the housing and secure it.
  8. Reconnect the wire harnesses according to your reference photo.
  9. Reattach the console and panels, restore power, and test the washer.
