⚠️ Safety Warning: Appliance repair involves electricity, gas, and moving parts. Always disconnect power before working on any appliance.
Error Code: 3E2 Difficulty: Hard
Problem: Erratic motor speed signal or hall sensor intermittent fault
How to Fix 3E2 Error
- Inspect hall sensor wiring harness for chafing against sharp edges near motor mounting points.
- Wiggle sensor connector while monitoring resistance with multimeter – intermittent changes indicate bad connection.
- Replace hall sensor DC31-00138A if intermittent readings detected during wiggle test.
- Check motor mounting bolts for looseness causing vibration-induced signal loss (torque to 15 ft-lbs).
- Verify 15V DC supply to hall sensor at PCB connector pin 3 (critical for signal integrity).
- If power supply unstable or signal distorted: replace main PCB DC92-01543A.
- After repair, run diagnostic spin test to verify stable RPM feedback.
