How to Fix Samsung Washer Error 1 HC

How to Fix 1 HC Error

  1. Unplug the washer and turn off the water supply.
  2. Depending on the model, access the heater from the front or back. For front access, remove the top panel, control panel, and front panel.
  3. For rear access, remove the back panel.
  4. Locate the heater at the bottom of the outer tub. Disconnect the electrical connections.
  5. Loosen the 10mm nut on the heater’s mounting bolt, push the bolt inward, and then pull the old heater out.
  6. Insert the new heater, ensuring it is properly seated in its bracket inside the tub.
  7. Tighten the nut to secure the new heater in place.
  8. Reconnect the wires to the terminals.
  9. Reassemble all panels, reconnect power and water, and run a hot water cycle to test.
