How to Fix Refrigerator Error
- Unplug refrigerator from electrical power. Pull unit away from wall for rear access.
- Remove rear lower access panel to expose condenser fan assembly near compressor.
- Manually rotate condenser fan blade – should turn smoothly with no resistance or grinding.
- Disconnect fan motor wiring harness. Label connections before removal.
- Test motor windings resistance between terminals per service manual specifications.
- Inspect fan blade for dust buildup, debris, or physical damage. Clean thoroughly.
- Check condenser coils for excessive dust accumulation. Clean with vacuum and coil brush.
- If motor tests faulty or bearings are seized: remove mounting screws securing fan assembly.
- Extract old condenser fan motor. Install new assembly using OEM part DA31-00125A.
- Reconnect wiring harness securely. Reinstall access panel. Restore power and verify fan operates continuously during compressor run cycles with adequate airflow across condenser coils.
