Error Code: tE3 Difficulty: Moderate

Problem: Temperature sensor fault

How to Fix tE3 Error

  1. UNPLUG THE DRYER. This is a variant of the ‘tE’ temperature sensor error.
  2. The thermistor is usually located on the blower housing or the heater assembly. Remove the dryer’s front or rear panel to access it.
  3. Disconnect the wire harness from the thermistor and test its resistance with a multimeter.
  4. A functional thermistor should read around 10,000 ohms (10kΩ) at room temperature. If the reading is incorrect, it has failed.
  5. Replace the faulty thermistor, reconnect the wiring, and reinstall the panel.
