Problem: Vent is over 90% clogged
How to Fix C90 Error
- This is a critical safety warning, not a fault with the dryer. It means the ‘Vent Blockage Test’ has determined your exhaust vent is over 90% clogged.
- UNPLUG THE DRYER IMMEDIATELY. Do not use the dryer until the vent is cleaned. A clogged vent is a serious fire hazard.
- Clean the lint filter inside the dryer door.
- Disconnect the vent hose from the back of the dryer and clean it out thoroughly. Use a vent cleaning kit (brush and flexible rods) to clean the entire length of the duct in your wall, all the way to the exterior of your house. Ensure the outside flap moves freely.
