How to Fix AE Error

UNPLUG THE DRYER. This is a communication error between different control boards.
First, perform a hard reset by leaving the dryer unplugged for 10 minutes.
If the error returns, you must access the internal electronics. Remove the top panel and console. Check all ribbon cables and wire harnesses between the different control boards. Reseat every connection firmly.
If all connections are secure, one of the control boards has failed, most commonly the main control board (PBA). Replacing it is the only remaining fix.
