How to Fix Dryer Error
- UNPLUG dryer from electrical power for 20 minutes to attempt deep memory reset.
- Restore power and observe if error clears. If persistent, proceed.
- Remove rear access panel to expose main control board.
- Reseat all connectors on main board. Clean pins with electrical contact cleaner.
- Inspect board for physical damage to memory chips, burnt components, or loose solder joints.
- If no visible damage but error persists, replace main control board using OEM part DC92-01003A.
- Transfer all connectors to new board carefully. Secure mounting screws to 5 in-lbs torque.
- Restore power. Enter diagnostic mode per model instructions to initialize board memory and verify all functions operate correctly.
