Error Code: 6C2 Difficulty: Moderate
Problem: Button stuck on control panel
How to Fix 6C2 Error
- UNPLUG THE DRYER. This error means a button on the user interface (UI) is stuck.
- First, try gently pressing and wiggling each button on the control panel to see if you can free the stuck one. Sometimes wiping the panel with a damp cloth can help.
- If that doesn’t work, the UI board is faulty and needs to be replaced. Access the board by removing the top control console panel.
- Disconnect the ribbon cable(s) and any other wire harnesses from the old UI board. Remove its mounting screws, install the new board, and reconnect everything.
