How to Fix Dryer Error

UNPLUG dryer from electrical power. Allow 45 minutes for heating chamber to cool completely.
Remove rear access panel to expose heater assembly and wiring.
Disconnect electrical wires from heater terminals. Label connections for reassembly.
Test heater element resistance with multimeter: proper reading 10-30Ω. Infinite resistance indicates open element.
Inspect wiring insulation near heater connections for melting, burns, or damage. Repair damaged sections.
Replace faulty heater assembly using OEM part DC97-15010A: remove mounting screws, extract old unit, clean heating chamber thoroughly, install new assembly with fresh gasket, torque screws to 12 in-lbs.
