Problem: Temperature sensor fault (FlexDry models)
How to Fix 1tCS Error
- This is a temperature sensor error for the upper FlexDry unit. UNPLUG THE DRYER.
- You will need to remove the top console and/or top panel to access the thermistor for the upper dryer.
- Locate the sensor, disconnect its wiring, and test its resistance with a multimeter.
- Like other thermistors, it should read around 10kΩ at room temperature. If the reading is bad, replace the sensor.
- Install the new thermistor, reconnect the wiring, and reassemble the dryer.
