How to Fix Dryer Error

UNPLUG dryer from electrical power.
Ensure dryer door closes fully with firm click. Check door strike plate alignment on frame.
Remove front panel or control console to access door switch assembly near door frame.
Test door switch continuity with multimeter: switch must CLOSE when door is pressed shut (simulating closed position).
If switch fails continuity test or shows physical damage, replace assembly.
Disconnect wiring harness. Remove mounting screws securing switch. Extract old switch assembly.
Install new door switch using OEM part DC64-00130A. Verify actuator arm aligns perfectly with door strike plate.
Reassemble panels. Restore power. Test by opening/closing door while observing control response – cycle should start only when door is fully closed.
