How to Fix Dishwasher Error
- Unplug dishwasher and allow components to reach room temperature.
- Remove lower access panel to access temperature sensor locations.
- Locate thermistor mounted on heater housing or tub wall. Disconnect wiring harness.
- Measure resistance across sensor terminals with multimeter at current ambient temperature.
- Compare reading to service manual chart (e.g., 77°F = ~10kΩ). Infinite = open; zero = shorted.
- Remove mounting screw securing sensor. Gently extract thermistor from well.
- Clean mounting well thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and lint-free cloth.
- Apply thermal conductive paste to sensing tip of new sensor.
