Problem: Zone Wash function not operating correctly
How to Fix PC Error
- DISCONNECT POWER AND WATER. Turn off the circuit breaker and shut off the water supply.
- REMOVE THE DISHWASHER. Disconnect all lines and pull the dishwasher out from under the counter.
- ACCESS THE DISTRIBUTOR MOTOR. Lay the dishwasher on its back to access the components on the bottom. The distributor motor (DD31-00016A), also called the zone wash motor, is connected to the sump assembly.
- REPLACE THE MOTOR. Disconnect the wire harness from the motor. It is often held in place by a few screws. Remove the screws and twist the motor to release it from the sump. Install the new motor, ensuring the seal is properly seated.
- REASSEMBLE AND TEST. Reconnect the wiring, secure the dishwasher upright, reinstall it under the counter, and reconnect all lines. Restore power and run a cycle with a zone wash option selected to verify the repair.
