How to Fix CA Error

DISCONNECT POWER. Turn off the circuit breaker for the dishwasher.
CHECK WIRING HARNESSES. This error indicates a communication breakdown. Before replacing the board, inspect all visible wiring harnesses for loose connections or damage. Pay close attention to the wires running through the door hinge, as they can fray over time. Reconnect any loose plugs.
ACCESS THE MAIN CONTROL BOARD (PBA). The main board (DD92-00042A) is usually located in a plastic case on the side or bottom of the dishwasher. You will need to pull the dishwasher out to access it.
REPLACE THE MAIN CONTROL BOARD. If all wiring appears intact, the board itself has failed. Carefully label every wire harness as you disconnect it from the old board. Remove the mounting screws, take out the old board, and install the new one. Meticulously transfer all connections to the new board.
REASSEMBLE AND TEST. Reinstall the dishwasher, reconnect power, and run a cycle to confirm the communication error is gone.
